Experience the freshest local oysters, creative food and drink pairings, and an interactive shucking experience. We’ll be featuring some of our favorite local oyster farms bringing you the best of what’s in season. Oyster Happy Hour(s) featuring Baywater Farms
At the heart of Pearls & Pairings is the interactive oyster shucking experience led by Caleb from Baywater Shellfish. Guests will have the opportunity to learn some safe techniques for shucking an oyster from a seasoned expert while learning about the flavor profiles of Baywater’s Baywater sweets along with their partner farm’s Indigos.
Baywater Shelfish, a family-run gem from Thorndyke Bay, is all about sustainable aquaculture and preserving the Pacific Northwest’s natural bounty. Their oysters, nurtured with care, reflect their mission to protect marine ecosystems. Find Caleb from Baywater Farms on the Garden Terrace at Harry’s Fine Foods on Tuesday, 2/4 from 3pm-4pm, and on the patio at Harry’s Beach House on Wednesday 2/5 from 4-5pm.

All week during happy hour, both locations have put a tour of fresh oyster on the half shell, creative preparations of grilled, fried & baked oysters, and sweet to briny combinations between savory martinis and wines.
