Harry’s Guest House – Capitol Hill, Seattle
O V E R V I E W
Harry’s Guest House, located in the heart of Capitol Hill, is seeking a warm, organized, and detail-oriented Guest House Coordinator to join our team. This role serves as the primary point of contact for all guests, ensuring a seamless and elevated stay from arrival to departure.
You’ll be responsible for guest communications, coordinating cleanings and turnovers, monitoring property maintenance, and ensuring each suite is fully stocked and ready. You’ll also manage our booking engine (Mews), and perform pre-arrival inspections to guarantee that every unit meets our standards for comfort and quality.
This is a highly independent role that requires excellent time management, strong communication skills, and a passion for hospitality.
R E S P O N S I B I L I T I E S
Act as the main point of contact for all guest communication before, during, and after their stay.
Manage all bookings and guest messaging via our booking platform, Mews.
Coordinate cleaning schedules with our cleaning team to ensure timely and thorough turnovers.
Conduct pre-check-in inspections to ensure suites are clean, well-stocked with amenities and minibar items, and guest-ready.
Report any damages, maintenance issues, or supply needs to the property manager or ownership.
Provide on-site support to guests when needed, offering thoughtful, attentive service.
Maintain a strong understanding of the guest house’s operations and communicate effectively with the broader team.
K E Y R E Q U I R E M E N T S
Highly organized and self-motivated, with strong time management skills.
Comfortable working independently and unsupervised.
Warm, professional demeanor with excellent communication skills.
Ability to lift up to 25 pounds and navigate multi-level properties.
High school diploma or equivalent required.
Previous hospitality, property management, or guest services experience a plus.
Familiarity with booking platforms like Mews is helpful, but not require— we’ll train the right person.
Flexibility to respond to time-sensitive guest needs, particularly around check-ins.
